Flemingo DF holds prize giveaway at Bandaranaike Intl Airport in Colombo

Flemingo Duty Free, the operator at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Sri Lanka recently held a prize giveaway at the departures store.
The event was presided by Priyantha Kariyapperuma, Vice Chairman, Flemingo Duty Free, Sanjeewa Wijeratne, Executive Director, Flemingo Duty Free, H. S. Hettiarachchi, Head of Airport Management, Flemingo Duty Free, Rajitha Medawewa, Head of Commercial and Properties, Flemingo Duty Free and Sumith de Silva , Head of Marketing, Airport Aviation and Services Limited.
Flemingo said the prize giveaway was the culmination of an intensive promotion period at Flemingo Duty Free. The company ran several promotional campaigns over the last few months in partnership with Diageo, Pernod Ricard and Treasury Wine Estates.
The aim was to add value to the customer’s shopping experience, create excitement at the store and make Bandaranaike International Airport a favourable shopping destination.
PROMOTION WINNERS
Winners of the Wolf Blass ICC World Cup Cricket promotion implemented in partnership with Wolf Blass walked away with tickets for the World cup match between India and Sri Lanka on 6 July.
As part of the Diageo promotion, two Royal Enfield Bikes were given away as mega prizes. Daily prizes such as gold coins, mobile phones and bags were also distributed during the promotion period.
By participating in seasonal promotional campaigns implemented in partnership with Pernod Ricard, Mr. Vino Kaushal and Mr. George Piyal each won 100-gram gold coins, while Mr. Thushara Sanjweea claimed a $500 cash prize.
Mr. W.D.A. P.W Perrera and Mr. U. L. Jaswar took home cash prizes of $250. In addition, assured gifts were given to all customers spending $55 on products.
