French fashion brand Lacoste has announced its latest store opening at Mactan-Cebu International Airport in the Philippines.
Curated around the brand’s ‘Le Club Concept’, the 42sq m unit at Terminal 1 pledges a ‘premium shopping experience’ to local and international travellers.
The latest opening follows the unveiling of a new 80sq m travel retail shop at Tokyo Haneda Airport Terminal 1 last month.
“Travel Retail, often referred to as the ‘6th continent’, offers a unique opportunity to connect with consumers and highlight the brand all over the world,” said the brand.
The firm possesses more than 170 boutiques in travel retail worldwide.
“Looking to the future, Lacoste continues to leverage the travel retail channel strengthening or expanding in new geographical areas, developing new channels (online duty free and cruises) and new ways of connecting with consumers before, during and after their trips,” it added.
