This summer, Zürich Airport, Nuance and SSP are teaming up in the Airside Center to present the ‘Airport Beach Club’ featuring multiple summer offers.

 

Zürich Airport management says it has built ‘a coherent and convincing summer promotion’ with its partners comprising six vending stalls on Level 1 and 2 displaying a wide range of duty free products – alcohol, perfumes & cosmetics, as well as other summer products such as sunglasses, colourful flip-flops, books, bar accessories and other items.

 

The hope is that passengers will have some fun and also be inspired to make the last-minute duty and tax free purchases they need for their summer holidays between now and when the promotion finishes at the end of August.

 

 

 

 

FUN-THEMED ZONES

Zürich airport says each zone is specifically themed, whether it is the world of gin, the variety and different origins of vodka, rum and/or tequila, or fresh summer fragrances. It adds that the summer visuals, plus the fun and colourful entertainment spaces add to the summer flavour at the airport, with all the promotional spaces managed by Nuance.

 

In a statement, the airport said: “The Airport Beach Club was realized in cooperation with SSP – one [of the] major gastronomical operators at Zürich Airport. A cozy lounge as well as 30 additional seating opportunities invites [passengers] to enjoy a delicious summer cocktail, a classic long drink, a cool beer or a fresh fruit juice, in order to get mentally ready for the best time of the year – the summer holiday season.

 

“The menu offers a large variety of traditional and trendy summer drinks, whose ingredients may be purchased on the spot. Additionally, a live DJ animates the Airport Beach Club during the peak times and plays suitable beach-sounds and entertains the passengers while they wait for their flight.”
