PRTR draws customers with ‘Golden Beacon’

Pernod-Ricard-Golden-Beacon-SchipholPernod Ricard Travel Retail has launched what it calls, ‘the Golden Beacon project’, a series of consumer experiences taking place at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to coincide with the festive travel season.

 

The Golden Beacon space is meant to act as a centrepiece for the airport’s travel retail area and will showcase three of Pernod Ricard’s top luxury brands including Chivas, The Glenlivet and Martell.

 

“Travellers will be invited to visit specially curated spaces displaying information about each brand’s heritage and personality, with opportunities to sample products on offer,” says PRTR.

Chivas-Regal-Pernod-Ricard-Schiphol

An educational area for Chivas brings the brand’s luxury values to life, with dedicated Chivas Made for Gentlemen and Chivas Regal Extra spaces demonstrating the quality in each bottle.

“Visitors to the space will be greeted by a team of highly knowledgeable staff who are on hand to offer tastings and provide information about the specifics of the products in each range.”

 

A dedicated space for The Glenlivet aims to showcase the craftsmanship behind the creation of each of its expressions, with a presentation of tools showing the heart of the distillation process.

 

Martell-Pernod-Ricard-Schiphol

Martell Premier Voyage is placed at the centre of the space, with a decanter of the limited edition eaux-de-vie encased in a conceptual glass capsule.

Consumers visiting the travel retail area will be offered the exclusive opportunity to purchase The Glenlivet Corgarff limited edition, a single cask bottling solely available at Schiphol.

 

The space also features a bespoke gifting unit for consumers collecting gifts for friends and family, offering an embossing machine to personalise a range of gifts with purchase.
