Delhi Duty Free has announced it surpassed INR 149 crore/US$18.3 million in November, its highest monthly sales haul on record.
“The credit for achieving the feat of highest monthly sales: INR 149.7 crores goes to teams across departments and our focus on continuously improving the customer value proposition,” commented Ashish Chopra, CEO of Delhi Duty Free.
“In addition, we continue to invest in staff skills and enhanced training. Delhi Duty Free is on track to maintain its current growth rate through 2022 and beyond. I’d also like to thank our suppliers and, of course, our loyal customers, who have all contributed to our success.”
The travel retailer, which operates at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, points in a statement to a ‘fantastic’ year.
It says it has already exceeded pre-pandemic sales levels and continues to build momentum.
Staffing levels have now returned to pre-Covid levels and there are plans to invest in the retail experience in the coming months, adds the company.
Several store-wide promotions and brand activations are being planned, together with ‘best-in-class’ offers on top brands across categories.
