On 25-26 April, Gebr Heinemann presented the 2023 edition of its annual Airline Forum, at the Prototype Museum in the heart of Hamburg.
Hosted by the company’s Inflight & Catering team, the in-house trade event brought together customers and suppliers for two days of knowledge-sharing and valuable insights into the latest business trends. It was attended by more than 100 guests, including the representatives and agents of over 40 airlines.
The Airline Forum also incorporated opportunities for suppliers to present their latest product innovations, plus a lively networking programme.
Key topics explored included innovative ways of working, how to create best value, and crew engagement strategies.
A new beginning for inflight
The mood at the event was bullish and buoyant. “Let me share the positive message,” declared Gebr Heinemann Director Inflight Sales & Catering Oliver Gottschling. “We are back to where we used to be.”
“It’s interesting to see some of the excellent insights that have been brought forward over the past couple of days. Happy times!” added TUI Group Senior Category Manager Tim Olley.

The well-attended event provided the perfect opportunity for knowledge-sharing and insights into the latest business trends.
Coty Senior Key Account Manager Dominika Karwowska concluded: “We are always more than excited to come here, because what we see is that Coty, Heinemann and all the airline partners, we really share the same vision.”
“The Gebr Heinemann Airline Forum provides real added value for the industry and is unique in this form, as we create synergies between suppliers, customers and, of course, ourselves as a distributor,” Gottschling concluded. “Our goal is to continue to evolve the format each year and shape the future of inflight and catering.”
