TR Consumer Forum: Exclusive data as 1nSpirit workshop anticipation builds

By Luke Barras-hill |

The latest data from 1nSpirit: The Wine & Spirits Travel Retail Data Hub, will be presented on 21 September during the Travel Retail Consumer Forum.

IWSR and m1nd-set have offered TRBusiness a unique snapshot of the global travel retail beverage alcohol category ahead of this month’s inaugural Travel Retail Consumer Forum (20-22 September).

A specially curated infographic (scroll below) offers insight on the recovery path and long-term outlook for the sector, coupled with consumer behavioural trends based on research undertaken this year versus pre-pandemic.

As reported, IWSR CEO Mark Meek and m1nd-set CEO Peter Mohn will reveal exclusive data and intelligence on DF&TR beverage alcohol at the latest 1nSpirit workshop, which will be held during the Travel Retail Consumer Forum (20-22 September; click below to register).

The workshop, entitled ‘A Spirited Recovery’, will draw on powerful category metrics from 1nSpirit: The Wine & Spirits Travel Retail Data Hub, a marketing intelligence platform launched jointly by IWSR and m1nd-set during last year’s TRMarketplace digital networking event.

OPPORTUNITIES AND THREATS AHEAD

Visitors to the Travel Retail Consumer Forum will hear about the beverage alcohol category’s landscape in 2020, future expectations, how consumers are responding to the reopening of international travel and what this means for travel shopping.

The travel retail channel is predicted to be a sector that could undergo material changes in the short- to medium-term with real opportunities but also threats for brand owners, according to IWSR. The session will seek to unbox these elements.

Meek said previously: “We are delighted to be speaking at the Travel Retail Consumer Forum and be part of one of the first opportunities to meet industry colleagues in-person since in the start of the pandemic.“As regulations on travel ease, we are committed to providing the industry with the data and insights they need to navigate their road to recovery, as such we are looking forward to sharing findings from our 1nSpirit data service, in collaboration with m1nd-set, which will enable them to reassess and refine their business strategy.”

IWSR and m1nd-set presented exclusive insight on the beverage alcohol sector at the first 1nSpirit session during the inaugural TRMarketplace. To read more, click here.
