DFS Group’s seasonal gifting campaign ‘Give Joy’ has arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in time for the peak holiday travel season.

As reported, the luxury travel retailer is rolling out the campaign and first ever ‘Personalisation Gift Shops’ across its downtown stores and airport locations worldwide until 1 January 2019.

Travellers can celebrate the season of goodwill with the option to personalise gifts from the Abu Dhabi Duty Free Personalisation Gift Shop and Personalisation Gift Carts.

Designed to bring enticing and exclusive experiences to customers, selected gifts and products across the airport can be embossed, printed, stitched or gift wrapped.

‘TREE OF WISHES’

Messages or lettering can be added to gifts – be it leathergoods, ribbons or tote bags – for added novelty.

In an additional flourish, travellers spending more than AED100 ($27) at the airport’s duty free & F&B outlets can choose a bauble from the ‘Tree of Wishes’, located at Terminal’s 1 and 3, for a chance to win thousands of prizes including cash vouchers and diamond jewellery.

Maarten De Groof, Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports said: “At Abu Dhabi Airports we seek to embody the most renowned elements of traditional Arabian hospitality by ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless travel experience that caters to their needs and reflects our commitment to upholding the highest standards of excellence.

“This year we have a fantastic line up of offers and entertainment across Abu Dhabi International Airport, from our festive market at the bus gate tunnel to some engaging performances. We look forward to welcoming travellers from around the world to Abu Dhabi while showcasing our unique and exclusive services at the Capital’s airport,” added De Groof.
