DDF achieved sales of US$14.8 million (Dhs54.2m) on that milestone 40th anniversary, spurred by a special 25% discount on a wide range of merchandise for 24 hours.

Online sales topped US$2.1m (Dhs7.5m) with a total of 5,815 combined orders received through Click & Collect and Home Delivery service, as well as tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions purchased online.

Gopal works in research and development for an electronic solution company in Mumbai. He has been a regular participant in DDF’s promotion for 15 years.
