Etihad Airways names Christophe Didier as Vice President Sales and Distribution

Experienced aviation executive Christoph Didier will play a key role in advancing Etihad’s global market presence.

UAE flag carrier Etihad Airways has appointed Christoph Didier as its Vice President Sales and Distribution.

Didier brings more than 25 years’ experience in commercial aviation to the airline, including seven years with Panama’s Copa Airlines.

In his new role, Didier ‘will play a pivotal role in enhancing Etihad’s global market presence and advancing its growth objectives’, said the airline.

Reporting directly to Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad, Didier’s responsibilities extend to leading global sales initiatives and shaping the airline’s sales distribution strategy.

Founded in 2003 by royal decree by the late HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Etihad Airways celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
