Braun reveals exclusive Dufry Group partnership in Brazil
By Andrew Pentol |
Germany company Braun has partnered with Dufry Group in Brazil to sell its Braun and Oral B products at RioGaleão and São Paulo Guarulhos International Airports.
The partnership with Dufry in Brazil will enable Braun to capitalise on growing airport passenger numbers and fewer import restrictions, according to the company.
Braun products, along with items from many other brands are unavailable in the Brazilian domestic market due to high import tariffs and bureaucracy.
IN-STORE PRESENTATION
Sven Olschewski, Regional Sales Manager for the Global Braun Travel Retail team said: “The presentation in the stores is engaging and sparks the interest of arriving passengers. This is why we market out personal care range exclusively for and at Dufry Brazil.”
He added: “We have put an emphasis on tailored POS expansion in the arrival areas at RioGaleão and São Paulo Guarulhos International Airports.”
A Dufry spokesman commented: “Dufry is very proud of the growth of the personal care portfolio. We are confident that we can further develop this partnership with Braun to bring this very important brand to other operations.”
