The Baron Philippe de Rothschild company has completed a month-long promotion after creating a dedicated wine bar for travellers passing through Terminal 1 A+Z at Frankfurt Airport.

The promotion – run in partnership with long-time Frankfurt Airport concessionaire Gebr. Heinemann – ran throughout the month of August, offering passengers the opportunity to visit the wine bar and taste several expressions from the Mouton Cadet range.

Sampling opportunities were made available with the company’s Mouton Cadet Sauvignon Blanc, Reserve Mouton Cadet Bordeaux Rouge and the winemaker’s very latest – Mouton Cadet Grande Cuvée Médoc – which is a special release crafted exclusively for travel retail.

ONE OF MANY SPONSORED EVENTS…

A small manned bar complete with seating was made available to passengers to try products in a small island in the duty free shop, with prominent floor displays featuring Mouton Cadet wines.

The wine bar promotion is one of several events organised during the year, with the company well known for its exclusive sponsorship of prestige gatherings.

These currently include sponsorships at the Cannes International Film Festival since 1992 and Mouton Cadet wines are now also involved in golf as Official Supplier to the European Tour and to the 2016 and 2018 Ryder Cup golf tournaments.
