Dubai Duty Free won ‘Airport Retailer of the Year – Single Location’ and ‘Best Drinks Airport Retailer’ from Frontier and Drinks International in Cannes.

The Frontier Award was presented at the Gala Dinner held in the Hotel Martinez, in Cannes and the Drinks International Award at Cannes’ Hotel Majestic.

Commenting on Dubai Duty Free’s Airport Retailer of the Year award, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Duty Free said: “I would like to extend my congratulations to the management and staff at Dubai Duty Free for winning the Frontier ‘Best Airport Retailer of the Year’ award.

“This award is well deserved and sets the perfect tone for next year when the operation will expand further with the opening of Concourse D at Dubai International Airport.”

Adding his thanks, Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman of Dubai Duty Free said: “This is the seventh time that Dubai Duty Free has won the ‘Airport Retailer Award’ since the awards began 30 years ago. There is a lot of competition in this category and I would like to thank the organizers and the judges for their support.

In addition, DDF received its ‘Best Drinks Airport Retailer of the Year’ at the Drinks International Travel Retail Excellence Awards held at the annual TWFA World Exhibition in Cannes on Tuesday 28th October, at the Hotel Majestic.
