DDF Chinese NYToday, Dubai Duty Free officially welcomed the Year of the Fire Monkey with a Chinese-themed celebration in Terminal 3 (Concourse B) of Dubai International Airport (DXB) attended by DDF management and guests from the Chinese Consulate in Dubai (see image below for details).

To promote sales during the key Chinese New Year period, DDF has launched a number of promotions across its retail outlets including a special -20% discount on the top 25 popular products for Chinese customers.

The promo will run from 2-11 February and includes Chinese products such as Chungwa and Panda cigarettes, indigenous Chinese Liquors like Kweichow Moutai as well as popular high-end categories in liquor, confectionery, skincare and perfumes such as Chanel, Dior, SKII, Sisley and Lancôme.

These offers are housed primarily in traditional-styled retail areas featuring Chinese architecture adorned in red and gold, signifying good fortune and joy. The emblem of the Fire Monkey is evident along with Chinese staff dressed in traditional costume.

Prominent signage, promotional display and brochures in Mandarin are also available to make shopping more accessible for Chinese passengers and special Chinese New Year packaging (paper, ribbons and boxes) are being offered to ensure “high-end exclusivity”.
