Foreo and FAQ immersive tourism video with GoldilocksX for Hainan

Foreo and FAQ partnered with Chinese tourism blogger GoldilocksX to produce a video introducing all of its available placements in Hainan.

Swedish beauty and tech company Foreo and sister-brand FAQ have joined forces with Chinese tourism blogger GoldilocksX to engage shoppers in Hainan.

The partnership has given rise to a video introducing the portfolio of Foreo and FAQ placements in Hainan, providing viewers with an immersive shopping experience.

GoldilocksX has a following of 182,900 on Chinese social media platform Red Book and a total engagement of 869,000.

“Our partnership with GoldilocksX proves that Foreo is dedicated to exploring new and refreshed marketing channels and strategies to continually attract and retain customers,” said Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong.

“The video we have produced not only highlights the benefits and functions of Foreo and FAQ customers, but also assists with promoting Hainan as the ultimate travel destination.

“By locking in this two-pronged approach, we can simultaneously assist with increasing tourism to the region, and embed direct association of our brand with Hainan in the minds of the consumers. Foreo looks forward to executing similar content in the remainder of 2022.”

FOREO & GOLDILOCKSX CAMPAIGN

The video, which elevates Foreo’s digital marketing efforts, shines a light on the company’s current retail partners in Hainan. These include China Duty Free Group’s (CDFG) Haikou Duty Free Shop, CDF Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, Haikou Global Duty Free (GDF) Plaza, Sanya CNSC International Duty Free Plaza, Hainan Duty Free Shopping Complex, and Haikou Mission Hills with Shenzhen Duty Free and DFS Group.

Among the island’s top sightseeing and shopping attractions mentioned is the ocean view from the balcony of CNSC, which customers can soak up while shopping the Foreo collections.

Visitors to the island can also discover the anti-ageing FAQ 103 Diamond collection at Haikou GDF Plaza.

A pampering home spa experience awaits at CDF Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, where the Hainan Tourism Duty Free (HTDF) pop-up showcases the complete FAQ range.

Once travellers are all shopped out, they can head over to Haikou Mission Hills with Shenzhen Duty Free and DFS for a relaxing leisure experience.

Both Foreo and FAQ are continuing to expand their presence in Hainan alongside ramping up interactive marketing efforts in the region.

Foreo launched 16 counters there in 2021, including 11 FAQ counters, in locations including Haikou Mova Mall with CDFG, as well as with Hainan Development Holdings & Dufry; Global Duty Free Plaza; and CDFG Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Haitang Bay.

Foreo has launched a Summer Flash sales promotion for May and June.

WELCOMING BACK TOURISTS

In the wider Asia Pacific region, Foreo is working closely with its retail partners Shilla, Dufry and KrisShop to welcome back tourists following the re-opening of borders.

“Promotions are ongoing to make sure that tourists are able to get the best of Foreo on their travels, and we’re grateful to our long-term and new partners for supporting our endeavours to get back on our feet in the region.”

Earlier this month, Foreo and FAQ celebrated Mother’s Day by taking part in KrisShop’s May promotion, rolling out special offers on a selection of its home spa experience products for a set time period to boost sales on the platform.

The company has also opened and re-opened counters at Changi Airport.

A new counter at Terminal 3 Arrivals South launched on 25 February, followed by the re-opening of both the Terminal 1 Centre Store on 18 March and, more recently, the Terminal 1 Arrival East on 13 May which had been paused due to the pandemic.

In anticipation of an uplift in tourists, Foreo has launched a Summer Flash sales promotion for May and June featuring key products such as the Luna 2, Luna Mini 2, Luna Go, and Issa Mikro.
