Further growth for Coccinelle in Asia Pacific

By Caroline Sargent |

Parma-based bag brand Coccinelle has developed further its business in the Asia Pacific region with the news that three new doors opened in China and South Korea in April.

Two outlets started trading in China, launched in partnership with China National Service Corporation, in downtown duty free malls located in Beijing (pictured below) and Zhengzhou.

Another location has opened at Walkerhill downtown duty free mall in Seoul, South Korea, in association with Bluebell Korea Ltd.

Each launch showcases the Spring/Summer 2015 collection, pitched by the brand as ‘elegant, modern and with the right touch of Italian glamour.’

Emanuele Mazziotta, Head of Travel Retail, comments, “April has been a crucial month with the three openings in Asia.

“We are pleased to enter the South Korea market with Bluebell and we thank them for their support with this opening.

“Following the recent opening in Taiwan, we are proud to announce two additional openings in the area with CNSC. Asia is always a key region we look at and we are now working on several openings in Europe, which will happen in May.”
