Kilian Paris unveils first in-airport Kilian Bar concept at Singapore Changi

Luxury fragrance brand Kilian Paris is celebrating the GTR debut of its Kilian Bar concept with a striking pop-up at Singapore Changi, in partnership with Changi Airport Group and The Shilla Duty Free.

Located in Terminal 3, the pop-up is running from 1 June to 11 July.

Brand Founder Kilian Hennessy made a personal appearance on 16 June, marking his first such visit to the hub.

“As demand for luxury travel experiences continues to grow, travel retail is an exciting channel for consumers to discover and experience new brands and exclusive products that they cannot get anywhere else.

“With the Kilian Paris pop-up at Changi Airport Terminal 3, we are inviting travellers to immerse themselves in the ultra-luxurious and timeless sophistication of Kilian Paris, elevating their travel experience and helping them to create long-lasting memories.”

The activation celebrates the French heritage of the brand through three engaging elements: a Digital Fragrance Finder, which consumers can utilise to uncover their signature scent; the Kilian Bar, where an extensive menu of fragrances can be sampled; and the Don’t be Shy Silent Disco pumping out a playlist curated by Hennessy himself.

“At Changi Airport, we are constantly on the lookout for ways to pleasantly surprise travellers who step through our gates,” said Teo Chew Hoon, Managing Director of Airside Concessions, Changi Airport Group.

“With its novel and fun elements, like the Kilian Bar, which serves cocktails, and the Don’t be Shy Silent Disco, the Kilian pop-up at Terminal 3 will bring an element of excitement to our passengers.”

Jeff Lee, The Shilla Duty Free Singapore VP, Managing Director added: “In addition to the pop-up experience at Terminal 3, travellers can also purchase Kilian Paris at the newly opened Terminal 2 Central Store, as well as at Terminal 4 Central Store in Q4 2023.

“We hope that travellers will be inspired by Kilian Paris’ prestigious brand heritage and luxurious approach to fragrances through these retail experiences.”

At the Don’t Be Shy airport party on 16 June, Kilian Hennessy offered personalised fragrance consultations.

Guests also enjoyed a bartender showcase by an award-winning mixologist, who served cocktails inspired by Kilian Paris’ best-selling Liquors Collection, including its newest addition, Blue Moon Ginger Dash.

Inspired by Kilian Hennessy’s favourite summer cocktail (the Blue Lagoon), the new fragrance evokes the essence of the French Riviera with notes of refreshing lemon essence and calone, complemented by a vodka accord, organic ginger essence from Madagascar, white musk, and Ambroxan.

Its distinctive bottle has an electric blue base reminiscent of Art Deco crystal cocktail tumblers.

Drawing on its 15-year heritage, Kilian Paris has a strong portfolio of more than 34 unisex fragrances across five olfactive families (The Fresh, The Narcotics, The Cellars, The Smokes and The Liquors), presented in refillable fragrance flacons.

Each scent is inspired by Hennessy’s olfactive memories and his passion for nightlife, extravagance, and elegance.
