Lindt’s Year of the Dragon actibation at KLIA arrivals

Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail is celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Dragon with gifting-focused seasonal activations at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Hainan, China.

Promotions are supported by Chinese New Year sleeve designs and gift packs for shoppers travelling over the peak holiday period.

The activities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport ran in partnership with Eraman. An Arrivals fixture shows a dragon scaling a tower of Lindor tubes, while the in-store animation features Lindt’s Napolitains and Lindor products.

At Haitang Bay, Hainan, Lindt is building on the success of its 2023 activation with a majestic dragon design. The space was developed in collaboration with China Duty Free Group.

Both the Kuala Lumpur and Haitang Bay activations feature specially designed gift packls and limited edition sleeves.

Gift packs include two Lindor 400g tubes in both Milk and Assorted flavours, and were designed to encourage consumers to trade up.

“The ‘Delight’ pillar of our category vision refers to the joy that gifting spreads and we hope that these activations, together with the exclusive products on offer, provide shoppers with a strong gifting proposition to indulge in this Chinese New Year,” said Peter Zehnder, Head of Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail.

“We are committed to driving growth through gifting and look forward to unveiling further compelling animations throughout the year as we strive towards adding confectionery to every basket.”

Lindt marked Diwali last year with Lindor Diwali ‘Gift of Bliss’ activations at eight airport locations across the Middle East and India.
