By Doug Newhouse |
Lotte Duty Free has announced that it plans to open a 289sq ft Longchamp boutique at A.B. Won Pat International Airport in Guam on 30 July, replacing the space that was formally occupied by the Bally brand.
“The brand appeals to the Japanese and Korean female customers who appreciate Longchamp’s fine leather craftsmanship,” said Jaeha Kim, Lotte Duty Free Guam’s new CEO.
“We are pleased to be able to offer Longchamp products to travellers coming through Guam International Airport.”
‘UNDERSTATED ELEGANT SIMPLICITY’
According to the retailer that holds the Guam Airport duty free concession, the 26.8sq m store plans to offer its ‘latest collection’ of women’s handbags – including the iconic Le Pliage bag – plus small leather goods and accessories.
Lotte adds that the storefront will comprise a contemporary ‘understated elegant simplicity’, featuring the Longchamp name on the entrance floor and a champagne-coloured fascia.
At the same time, the interior walls and furniture will feature a combination ‘contrasting white and earth tone palette, designed to showcase merchandise in attractive displays.
