Shilla hosts Hermès & Dior in experiential HKIA activities
By Charlotte Turner |
From now until the 7 October, The Shilla Duty Free will be hosting two separate large scale promotions from Hermès and Parfums Christian Dior, within its North and South stores (respectively) at Hong Kong International Airport.
The ‘Curated Zone’ at the two largest Beauty&You outlets have been taken over by the brands and transformed into ‘distinctive experiential spaces’, insists Shilla, featuring digital components and technology which is new to Asia.
In the East Hall South store, French fashion and fragrance label Hermès, has chosen to promote the launch of its Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver fragrance, featuring a ‘tactile infrared technology’ new to the region.
“The Shilla Duty Free is the first retailer in the Asia-Pacific to incorporate this interactive technology in stores, which demonstrates once again the brand’s commitment to be positioned at the forefront of the experiential retail trend,” adds Shilla.
In the East Hall North Beauty&You store, Parfums Christian Dior’s is promoting its new fragrance ‘JOY by Dior’, delivering a ‘sensual journey’, beginning with a virtual reality (VR) experience.
“Redefining the traditional sales approach, the feature offers a new model of immersive retail for promoting perfumes,” says the retailer.
