Belfast International Airport (BIA) has welcomed leading UK footwear and sports fashion retailer JD Sports to its retail lineup.

Located in the departures area, the 171sq m store offers a wide range of sports clothing, footwear and accessories.

The latest opening follows a successful pop-up that coincided with last year’s Euro 2016 football tournament.

Deirdre Graffin, Commercial Manager, Belfast International Airport said: “JD is a great addition to the airport’s increasing retail offer and we are delighted to welcome them back to the airport.

“We know from customer feedback that JD is a brand that will be popular with our passengers. With such a wide range of products available at great value prices, we are sure the new outlet will be a great success with the 5.6 million passengers who are due to travel from Belfast International Airport this year.”

As the official partner of the Irish Football Association (IFA), JD will also stock replica Northern Ireland football kits.
