L’Oréal’s US brand Clarisonic is currently appearing in Gebr. Heinemann’s Brand Box at Copenhagen Airport as a 40sq m pop-up store where the cleansing devices are said to be selling well – a record of 27 were sold in one day.
According to Lise Ryevad (below), Director, Airport Service in Copenhagen Airport, Clarisonic’s Mia 2 device “has been awaited by many Danes interested in beauty”.
The three month long promotion (started on 15 April) is claimed to be a worldwide première in that Clarisonic has tied up with sister L’Oréal brands, Lancôme, Kiehl’s and Biotherm, to offer women and men skincare routines using products across their ranges.
The pop-up has demonstration bars, consultation tables, luminous wall, eye-catching screens with dedicated beauty advisors to guide the customer through a tailor-made routine from device to brush head, cleanser and skincare.
Ana Jaureguizar, General Manager Lancôme-Kiehl’s-Clarisonic Travel Retail EMEA says: “This is the starting point of an ambitious roll-out within Heinemann Duty Free shops.”
Inken Callsen, Director Purchase Perfumes & Cosmetics, Fashion & Accessories at Gebr. Heinemann, comments: “Our key objective is to create an exciting retail experience for our customers. The strong Clarisonic concept perfectly translates our commitment to offer travellers something extraordinary.”
Clarisonic devices offer 300 oscillations per seconds, with patented sonic technology that is claimed to cleanse skin six times better than with hands alone in only 60 seconds.
