Odessa International Airport (ODS) in Ukraine welcomed two new shops over the festive season.

Vyacheslav Cheglatonev, Director of Marketing and Commerce, Odessa International Airport stated: “We are pleased to open a modern duty free store for our passengers at the new terminal.
“We are grateful to our partners BF & GC Travel Retail LTD (Heinemann) for compliance with the highest world standards in this business.
“I am sure that the passengers will appreciate the assortment and high quality of the presented goods. We, in turn, continue to work on the development of services for our passengers.”
Simon Forde, CEO, BF & GH Travel Retail Ltd added: “As the world’s leading duty free retailer, we work directly with leading suppliers and brands.
“Combined with an understanding of the needs of the Ukrainian buyer, this gives us the opportunity to offer our customers the best and most desirable Ukrainian goods at a competitive price.
“Shopping at duty free is an important part of the passenger experience, so it was very important for us to open a store before New Year’s Eve.”
Additionally, the airport inaugurated a Citrus gadget store at the arrivals hall on 26 December.
The shop stocks a variety of electronics goods and equipment for travellers and is the first network store to open at an airport in Ukraine.
Cheglatonev commented: “Odessa Airport is the first among the airports to start cooperation with the leader in the electronics market, the Citrus company.
“For our passengers there is a unique assortment that is relevant, including for travellers. We hope that shopping at the airport at the Citrus store will help passengers make the trip a bright and memorable experience.”
Odessa Airport grew its passenger numbers by +17.1% to 1,694,022 in 2019.
