Health snacks and food company BMB has inked a travel retail distribution deal with Kreol Group.
Beginning life as a modest startup in 2007, Dubai-based BMB – part of F&B conglomerate Agthia Group – today exports products such as Mediterranean sweets to more than 23 countries globally.
“Being a UAE-based company ourselves, we are proud to be associated with the homegrown BMB and are quite excited by this new mission,” commented Lal Arakulath, CEO, Kreol Group.
Mohamad Khachab, Senior Vice President of BMB, added: “We are committed to expanding into travel retail with Kreol Group’s experience in this industry guiding the way forward. We have an amazing range of products which are ideal for travellers.”

Kreol Travel Retail does business with major duty free operators in the Arabian Gulf countries, India and Africa and is in the process of expanding its reach into Southeast Asia.
It is also a long-time partner of Dufry in running the duty free operations at Cochin International Airport in India.
Kreol Travel Retail announced a partnership last month with Swiss chocolatier Kägi to develop its travel retail business in India, Sri Lanka and the Arabian Gulf countries.
“We look forward to working with Kreol Travel Retail to bring our reputed Swiss quality confectionery to new regions,” said Christophe T. Spring, International Business Development Manager, Kägi Söhne AG.
