Cavalli names face of new Paradiso fragrance

By Caroline Sargent |

Coty has announced the signing of Edita Vilkeviciute to be the face of Paradiso, the new Roberto Cavalli fragrance for women slated to reach counters February 2015.

Born and raised in Lithuania, Vilkeviciute launched her career on the Cavalli catwalk and has appeared on the cover of several upscale magazines.

“Edita is a perfect match for Paradiso. She is a very talented model, feminine and sensual but also joyful and full of life. She has a positive energy that irradiates around her, and that immediately convinced us she could embody the woman of Cavalli’s Paradise,” says Renato Semerari, Coty President Categories & Innovation.

Roberto Cavalli, President of the Roberto Cavalli house, adds, “Edita is a supermodel of stunning beauty. She sums up the spirit of the fragrance and perfectly embodies the Paradiso woman, a bold and utterly feminine creature who irradiates her sophisticated glamour without being afraid to assert her natural seductiveness.”

Vilkeviciute has signed on to do print and TV ads for Paradiso for a worldwide campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti and directed by Jonas Akerlund.

“It is an honour to be the new face of Roberto Cavalli Paradiso fragrance. I am blessed and really grateful to have this chance,” says Vilkeviciute.
