A ‘streamlined’ leadership structure will help Oettinger Davidoff AG ‘align with changing market conditions’.

Luxury cigar maker Oettinger Davidoff AG has announced plans to streamline its management structure at Basel headquarters, to better align the business with changing market conditions.

The upcoming changes correspond to the company’s transformation programme entitled ‘Way Forward’, which was initiated at the beginning of this year by CEO Beat Hauenstein, confirms Davidoff.

The Omni-Channel Retail department, under the leadership of Carlo Motti, will be integrated into Global Marketing & Innovation in order to simplify processes and responsibilities. As a result of this organisational ‘refinement’, Carlo Motti will be leaving the company.

Edward Simon, currently Head of the Swiss Wholesales Business, will become the new leader of Global Marketing & Innovation. He will replace Charles Awad, who will be also leaving the company. Gerhard Anderlohr, current Sales Manager, will succeed Edward Simon and assume responsibility for the entire Swiss Wholesale Business.
