Guylian taps into evolving chocolate trends in 2016
By Charlotte Turner |
Guylian chocolates says that in line with a growing trend for smaller portion sizes, it has been launching every new product in smaller, ‘bite-sized’ portions that ‘allow for indulging’ with ‘less calorie intake per piece’.
In a bid to remain innovative the company has also introduced chocolate covered fruit treats in pouch packs along with Matcha Tea products tapping into another new trend for chocolate consumption.
“Tea in chocolate is a trend that arises from Asian tea cultures,” says Guylian. “The authentic tea ritual is very important and the drink has been praised for centuries for its many health benefits.
“One of the most exclusive and sought-after teas is Matcha green tea. This dried green tea variant is rich in anti-oxidants and offers a pure and earthy taste.”
In recent months Guylian has also launched a completely revamped assortment of its Guylian’s Temptations range, adding three new flavours – soft Caramel, Crunchy Biscuit and Latte Macchiato.
All of the above mentioned products will be on display at the upcoming TFWA Exhibition in Cannes, this October.
