HariboGerman sweet confectioner Haribo has broadened its travel-exclusive confectionery pouch range with the addition of Phantasia and Tropifrutti (750g) assortments.

Set to launch at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific show (stand C28), the new Phantasia Pouch features an assortment of delicious flavoured fruit jellies in a variety of shapes including dinosaurs, reptiles, cars, bottles, marine creatures and safari animals.

Meanwhile, the Haribo Tropifrutti pouch boasts an assortment of exotic sweets in passion fruit, banana, melon, mango-mandarin, pomegranate and pineapple flavours.

Both lines are available in a convenient zip-lock pouch format and join Haribo’s standard assortment in most of its markets.

HARIBO GOLDBEAR CANDY TIN

The travel exclusive pouches line already includes best-sellers Haribo Air-Parade, Goldbears, Happy Cola and Starmix in 750g and 250g sizes.

In addition to these, Haribo will also introduce the new Haribo Goldbear Candy Tin (120g), a premium gifting item available in red, green or yellow and containing ten mini Goldbear bags (12g).

Elisa Fontana, Travel Retail Manager Haribo, commented: “Tropifrutti and Phantasia are colourful, fun additions to the Haribo sharing pouch collection which is proving really successful in travel retail.

“Haribo had a pretty good year in 2016 with healthy growth in our biggest markets of Europe, Middle East and America and it is now time to focus more closely on Asia. Bright jazzy fruit jelly confectionery is a welcome alternative to chocolate and pralines for many consumers and has an important role to play in the crowded travel retail arena.”
