Travel Retail Sustainability Week open for business

By Michael Barrett |

The event platform for Travel Retail Sustainability Week is now live.

TRBusiness is delighted to announce that the Travel Retail Sustainability Week (19-23 April) event platform is now officially open for business.

Registered delegates can now log in and access the event portal, register for webinar sessions, view the ‘Sustainable Networking Hubs’ and watch presentation videos from individual hub partners.

Importantly, delegates will also be able to contact participating companies, browse event participants, and schedule business appointments.

Registration (free of charge) is necessary in order to access the event. If not already registered, please click here and complete your registration to access the platform.

The event is organised through the global virtual event platform Cvent, which has been used by over 30,000 customers including major global corporations including Siemens, the InterContinental Hotel Group, Orange Business Services and IMEX Group.

VIDEO TUTORIALS

Available on the home page of the event website are video tutorials instructing attendees on how to access the webinar sessions, request and book appointments with fellow delegates, and access the Sustainable Networking Hubs.

The complimentary networking facility has been introduced as a catalyst to drive the industry’s commitment to sustainability.

Crucially, the free networking function will enable all participating companies to use the event platform as a means to meet and connect with future business partners, who in turn can help to turbo-charge sustainability strategies moving forward.

As announced, the compelling Travel Retail Sustainability Week webinar programme has attracted a powerful speaker lineup comprising senior executives from within and outside the DF&TR industry.

In addition to some familiar faces, attendees will hear from a cross-section of voices such as sustainability-focused NGOs, consultancies and social enterprises.

For more information on the webinar agenda, visit the ‘Agenda page’ on the event website or register for each session individually on the event platform.

The webinar agenda will also feature the acclaimed ‘Sustainability Pitch’ sessions. These will feature participating companies vying to be recognised as ‘Travel Retail Sustainability Heroes’.

The Sustainability Pitches are currently being judged by a stellar lineup of senior airport and retailer directors, who will ultimately determine which companies are appointed Travel Retail Sustainability ‘Heroes’ and ‘Trailblazers’.

The judging panel includes executives from 3Sixty Duty Free, Aer Rianta Middle East, Budapest Airport, Delhi Duty Free, Dubai Airports Dubai Duty Free, ETRC, Ever Rich, Harding, Gate Retail, Gatwick Airport, KrisShop, Lagardère Travel Retail, London Heathrow, MSC Cruises, m1nd-set, Starboard Cruises, Trace Consulting, The Plastic Bank, Unifree Duty Free and Vancouver Airport.

HAVE YOUR SAY

In the lead-up to Travel Retail Sustainability Week, we are inviting all delegates to film a short video (less than one minute) about why they think sustainability is important for travel retail.

TRBusiness will be creating a video to share with the wider industry based on the responses we receive.
