Marshall Retail brings artistic flair to retail experience at SFO Harvey Milk T1
By Luke Barras-hill |
US travel retailer Marshall Retail Group (MRG) has opened a new shop inspired by the local art community at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Harvey Milk Terminal 1.
Aptly named ‘DepARTures’, the store features ‘evocative’ portrayals of San Francisco cityscapes from artist Amy Foster.
The artwork pay homage to the city’s bustling arts scene and entrepreneurial spirit.
The shop sells artisan merchandise sourced from local neighbourhoods, alongside travel essentials, gifts, electronics accessories, snacks, souvenirs and locally produced confections.
“Marshall Retail Group delivers a distinctive airport experience in an authentic environment that echoes San Francisco’s dynamic spirit,” commented Michael C. Wilkins, Chief executive Officer, Marshall Retail Group.
“DepARTure’s engaging store design creates a unique retail experience for travellers, reflecting not only the airport’s aesthetic, but also the heartbeat of the City by the Bay.”
