New ‘Time Travel’ store opens at Denver Airport
By Doug Newhouse |
Denver International Airport reports it has opened a new ‘Time Travel’ store today, not surprisingly selling a wide range of luxury timepieces, plus eyewear and other fashion accessories.
The new store is situated on the B Concourse Mezzanine level and is being operated by the DFASS Group. This offers upscale brands including top fashion designers such as Michael Kors, Nixon, Maui Jim, Prada, Ray-Ban, Furla, Longines, Tissot, Chopard, Montblanc and Tag Heuer.
The airport says that the selections are updated on a monthly basis to try to stay ahead of the latest fashion and technology trends.
Denver Airport is Time Travel’s first flagship location and features ‘stunning LED runway lighting’ in the floors, a sensory ceiling with light displays and sounds of passing overhead aircraft, along with custom display cases and accents made from genuine salvaged aircraft parts. The store openings times are from 08.00am to 21.00.
“Denver International Airport is elevating the airport experience by providing passengers with a better blend of local and national brands that travellers expect in a modern, world-class airport,” said Bhavesh Patel, DEN’s chief revenue officer.
“The addition of Time Travel will provide passengers in Denver with a new shopping option that will enhance our current line up of retail concessions.”
It was only just under a year ago that Denver Airport was the subject of a legal complaint by DIA Retail Fashion/DFASS after the airport awarded Dufry a seven-year duty free contract.
