TRADITIONAL RACING BULL SCULPTURE

Each section of the store is ‘subtly separated’ with the use of colours and textures, ‘giving the store a vital overview and a refreshing image’. International fashion brand, Lacoste, also introduced its latest shop in shop concept store within Surabaya Duty Free.

Heinemann Asia Pacific collaborated with a local artist to sculpt a pair of “Karapan Sapi”, (Maduranese racing bulls) – a traditional bull racing sport held especially for celebrations – the sculpture is painted in ‘Surabaya Duty Free’ colors of red and blue to commemorate this special occasion.

Max Heinemann, Chief Executive Officer of Heinemann Asia Pacific, said, “The great partnership and line up with the top brands across all categories underlines Heinemann Asia Pacific’s vision for Indonesia’s travel retail and the shared view on strong growth in the airport and retail scene.

“With the vast potential in Indonesia, we are very pleased to be able to participate in Indonesia’s travel retail market. Surabaya Duty Free is our first multi-category store in Indonesia and we look forward to a successful venture here.”

“Inspired by the concept of candy wonderland, the shop uses the main colours of a candy cane, red and white striped design throughout the colorful store, adding a touch of whimsy and fun into the shopping experience,” says Heinemann Asia Pacific.

Max Heinemann, Chief Executive Officer of Heinemann Asia Pacific, said, “Many details were added into this shop, from the logo to the candy swirls designs on the ceiling, instead of the traditional gondolas for product display, we replaced them with colorful push carts that gives the shop an additional interesting element.

“Like all our other retail shops, we want to bring our customers a complete and different shopping experience, from the assortment we carry to the shop design. We are very happy to be working with Plaza Bali and Angkasa Pura Airports and together with their great support; we look forward to a successful start in Indonesia”
