Angelini Beauty fragrances on show at Cannes

The Italian group subsidiary Angelini Beauty, incorporating Idesa Parfums and ITF, is to showcase some of its most successful 2014 fragrance releases at Cannes, including Blumarine’s ‘Anna’, and for men, ‘Wild’ by DSquared2 and ‘Black Extreme’ by Trussardi.

 

First launched in February of this year, Anna by Blumarine is an homage to the fashion house founder, Anna Molinari, and her emblematic flower, the ‘tenacious and delicate’ peony.

 

The essence of Water Fruits, Peony, Rose and Magnolia, accented by Vanilla, Precious Woods and a Musky Accord gives a pale pink tinge to the feminine crystal bottle, which is crowned with a peony-style feature cap and comes encased in silk packaging delicately traced with flowers.

 

Blumarine Anna is offered as a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum and as a 200ml body lotion.

 

Call of the Wild

According to the Canadian fashion brand, created by Dean and Dan Caten almost 20 years ago, Wild is an evolution of Dsquared2’s olfactory journey inspired by and founded in the elements of nature. Building on their debut scent He Wood and its follow up Potion, Wild is a new fragrance chapter for Dsquared2 that ‘explores man’s desires and his connection to the natural and urban world that surrounds him.’

 

A heady woody aromatic, the opening notes of Santolina and Resin Accord give way to intense Opoponax and the modern amber of Neolabdanum, finishing with sensual Vegetal Amber and primitive Humus.

 

The Wild Eau de Toilette range is supplemented by an After Shave Lotion Spray, Hair & Body Wash, Natural Spray Deodorant and an Alcohol-Free Deodorant Stick.

 

Trussardi’s model looks

Featuring the youthful image of fourth generation CEO Tomaso Trussardi, the advertising campaign for Trussardi’s newest fragrance for men, Black Extreme, conveys the embodiment of the Italian fashion group’s style, elegance and tradition.

 

Based on an aristocratic Black Leather accord with facets of fine Dark Woods, Vetiver and Patchouli, the fragrance expresses direct, sophisticated sensuality and features a striking contrast between the extreme freshness of Italian Lemon and a vigorous Marine Accord. The fruity Plum note enveloped by Italian Iris enhances the unique, moody character of the fragrance with dark, sensuous, elegant nuances.

 

Presented in a dramatic statement opaque bottle, with gold lettering and velvety black outer packaging, it is a strong expression of the brand’s core values, blending tradition and timelessness with modernity.
