Furla opens shop at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Paraguay

Furla_TravelRetailAwardsSponsor_19Furla has announced it has opened a new store at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Asunción, Paraguay.

The shop, unveiled in partnership with Top Brands in late May, spans 8sq m and carries Furla’s Spring Summer 2019 Collection.

In a statement, Furla said: “We would like to extend our thanks to Top Brands for their assistance with the new store, which we are very pleased with.”

As reported, Furla reported a rise in its travel retail sales of +16.2% year-on-year in 2018.

The travel retail division, which has a presence at approximately 293 doors (boutiques, corners, shop-in-shops, aircraft and cruise ships), accounted for 7.3% of the group’s turnover.

Furla has been a Platinum Sponsor at both editions of the industry’s first consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards.
