Armani Beauty & China Duty Free Group open new Hainan flagship store

The new Armani Beauty flagship opened its doors in Hainan on 14 June.

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific has joined forces with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to open a new Armani Beauty flagship store at the cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Hainan.

The 140sq m boutique is located on L2-19, and follows on from the group’s first Armani flagship which opened in Shenzhen last December.

A showcase for high-end beauty

The new store is said to offer a series of memorable experiences. Highlights include the Red River – a moving conveyor belt that displays signature makeup products such as the brand’s Power Fabric Foundation, Lip Maestro Satin, Lip Maestro and Lip Power – alongside iconic fragrance collections including Acqua di Giò, Armani Code, Sì, and My Way.

The store also showcases the brand’s haute couture fragrances range Armani/Privé, and anti-aging Crema Nera skincare line.

The new store is said to offer a range of memorable experiences, including one-to-one fragrance and makeup consultations.

Customers are invited to experiment with the make-up shades displayed along the Red River, and to experience a one-to-one consultation at the skincare bar.

Another feature is the Armani/Privé Emotion Lab, designed to allow customers to express their creativity through the art of calligraphy, by drawing their emotions on an interactive screen, to discover the Armani/Privé fragrances that are just right for them.

The innovative Red River conveyor belt showcases the brand’s makeup portfolio, including signature products such as Power Fabric Foundation.

One-to-one consultations to discover the Armani/Privé fragrance collection are also available.

As part of their in-store journey, customers can scan a QR code to discover Face Maestro, Armani Beauty’s pioneering digital make-up artistry service. This advanced tool provides personalised makeup recommendations, and invites shoppers to browse over 200 bespoke looks.

The Emotion Lab allows shopper to express their creativity through the art of calligraphy, by drawing their emotions on an interactive screen.

Finally, the new flagship incorporates a wide variety of gifting offerings, and the opportunity to enjoy a one-to-one makeup consultation with an Armani Beauty face designer.
