Visitors can ‘unwrap’ a signature red Cartier box to enter the boutique.

Visitors to T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams can now immerse themselves in an omni-channel retailing environment for French luxury maison Cartier (see image gallery at footer).

Cartier has transformed its boutique with dashes of contemporary flair inspired by the new ‘Love is All’ campaign.

On arrival at the boutique, which is ‘audaciously wrapped’ as a box that bears the striking red Cartier colourset, guests can access an augmented reality (AR) experience on their mobile phones.

This reveals a signature red Cartier gifting ribbon taking flight across the boutique’s façade.

INTERACTIVE CUES

Inside, Cartier’s eclectic range of leather goods, fragrances, lifestyle objects, watches and jewellery is brought to life via several engaging ‘retailtainment’ elements.

The ‘Cartier Profile’ application displays clients’ personalised Cartier product recommendations and an interactive lighting wall game engrosses clients in the Cartier fragrance universe and delights them with a surprise.

Cartier’s approach to celebrating love, beauty and the spirit of generosity plays out through the activation. The ‘Love is All’ experience is open at the boutique over key gifting periods until April.

Meanwhile, a Cartier karaoke box encourages guests to sing along to the ‘Love is All’ campaign soundtrack and to share their videos through social media.

The boutique experience is further enhanced by a WeChat mini program that connects with travellers during and after their trip to Macau.

Virginie Martignac, Global Travel Retail Director, Cartier commented: “It is a pleasure to share love from Cartier with travellers at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams this festive season with a creative and joyful multi-layered experience.

“We sincerely crafted this unique concept with the will to surprise and entertain our clients, and immerse guests in the thrill of unwrapping the iconic red Cartier box.”

Matthew Green, DFS Group Senior Vice President Watches and Jewelry, added: “The festive activation at the Cartier boutique resonates strongly with our consumers who are seeking elegant gifts and shareable experiences from brands to elevate their luxury stay in Macau.

“We would like to thank Cartier for creating a truly memorable omni-channel shopping journey, filled with love, and hope our guests enjoy this special experience over the coming months.”
