Singapore’s Changi Airport Group (CAG) has unveiled its new Changi App, backed by a year-long prize draw and the opportunity to win business class flights each month.

Formerly called iChangi, the revamped app offers new features including customised flight information and status updates on boarding gates and bags.

Push notifications provide timely updates, while travel checklists and advisories are designed to make the journey seamless.

The app also offers services such as restaurant bookings and overseas payment functionality via the Changi Pay wallet.

Changi Rewards perks and privileges can be redeemed and accrued using the app. Airport attractions and events are also bookable through the platform.

The functionality covers participating outlets across Changi terminals, and at Jewel.

Changi App: The ‘Great Changi Appscapade’

CAG is giving away business class flight tickets every month to support the app’s launch and promote its travel planning and flight tracking feature.

Known as The Great Changi Appscapade, one lucky winner will receive four flights each month, up to the value of S$80,000/US$58,000.

Travellers with flights from 11 November can enter the draw now by saving their flight in the Changi App before departure (other T&Cs apply).

Instant prizes including retail vouchers and attraction tickets will be won throughout the year.

App users can win as part of the Appscapade campaign.

“What truly excites us goes beyond the new features and design upgrades,” said Damon Wong, Senior Vice President of Airport Operations Planning at CAG.

“The new Changi App encompasses enhanced technology and in-house capabilities which give us the agility to offer our users innovative and revolutionary phy-gital experiences in this fast-evolving travel and retail landscape.”

Earlier this month, the Shilla Duty Free confirmed it will continue operating its duty free stores at Singapore Changi Airport after winning an extension of its contract to March 2028.

In June, CAG shared that it had recently opened more than 20 retail and F&B outlets.
