By Luke Barras-hill |
Changi Airport Group (CAG) has issued an invitation to concessionaires to participate in a direct marketing exercise for nine confectionery concessions.
Four packages include chocolate/candy/delicatessen units at the Departure/Transit Lounge across Terminals 1 to 4. These cover the following:
*Concession A: Premises A2 (174sq m), Premises A3 (35sq m); Concession B: Premises B1 (240sq m), Existing Premises B2 (126.5sq m), New Premises B2 (162sq m), Premises B3 (93sq m), Premises B4 (68sq m); Concession C: Premises C1 (219sq m), Premises C2 (150sq m); Concession D (431.4sq m).
Tenancies periods run variously from 15 months to 3 years (click here for further information) with a two-year renewal option available for all excluding Premises B2 and Concession D.
‘BEST-IN-CLASS’ PROPOSITIONS SOUGHT
The airport operator says it is searching for high impact store designs and creative concepts offering passengers ‘an unforgettable experience’, alongside a suitable product spread accounting for different tastes and price points.
Additionally, CAG seeks iterations using creative technology and visual merchandising techniques and/or marketing activations to drive penetration and conversion.
“As one of the most accessible and inclusive categories, the chocolate/candy/delicatessen concessions serve to diversify our retail offerings while delivering a fun and vibrant vibe to the overall retail ambience at Changi,” CAG said in a document.
“We seek retailers who can position Changi Airport as the airport with the best-in-class chocolate/candy delicatessen concept.”
