In partnership with GDF Plaza and Shenzhen Duty Free, Swedish beauty and tech brands Foreo and FAQ returned to the second edition of the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) in Hainan, consolidating its presence and ‘locking in’ Chinese travel retail partners.
The headline-grabbing 2022 CICPE Expo took place from 25-30 July, reportedly drawing in excess of 2,800 brands, according to the press release issued by event organisers and numerous news outlets within the Asia Pacific region.
The full range of products from both Foreo and FAQ were displayed on specially designed gondolas, while partners Shenzhen Duty Free, CNSC, and Zhuhai Duty Free (Foreo’s latest retail partner in China) also displayed Foreo’s products at the Expo.
The intention was to ‘increase awareness and education of the brand, while no doubt cementing further the solid positioning that Foreo holds in China’, said Foreo.
“With the Luna range ranked as both the top 1 and top 2 cleansing devices on Tmall, Foreo’s attendance at the annual expo will be awaited with baited breath,” said Foreo prior to the Expo.
“The brand has consistently gone from strength to strength in 2022, and with Tmall V Chart cementing the Luna range as the best facial cleansing device in China for the third consecutive year, Foreo is bound to make a splash as it arrives at the Hainan Expo.”
Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong said: “This year’s participation at the Hainan Expo is bound to be bigger and better than ever – with multiple partners on board to help us spread the word about our brand, we are poised for complete dominance of the event.
“It gives us great joy to be surrounded by supportive partners, as we would not have achieved our goal of being the number one cleansing device in China without them.”
Lim Guek Boon, President of Global Consumer Boutique (Hainan) Trading Co.Ltd of GDF, added. “Being able to partner with such a reputable brand as Foreo lends strength and confidence to our own brand.
“Foreo has been an incredible partner to work with, and we look forward to growing together and experiencing great success hand-in-hand.”
“We are bound to take Foreo to the next level with our placements at the Hainan Expo,” shared Yvonne Wang, Purchasing Manager of Shenzhen Duty Free (SZDF). “All stakeholders can win when purpose is acted upon, and with our joined purpose of achieving greater heights in the travel retail industry, our presence at the Hainan Expo is going to be a force to be reckoned with.”
“With Foreo by our side for the Hainan Expo, CNSC hopes to gain the confidence of the Chinese people in our brand,” shared Lasia Yuan, Deputy General Manager of CNSC Sanya.
“We consistently seek out partners that align with our internal values and goals to bolster our growth, and in Foreo, we have found the perfect match.”
Danial Chow, Chief Deputy Director of Procurement Operations Center of Zhuhai Duty Free Group (ZHDF), said: “Zhuhai Duty Free is proud to be the latest travel retail partner of Foreo in China, and we are thrilled to be displaying with them at the annual Hainan Expo.
“This partnership will no doubt lend significant value to our brand, and invite a memorable display at the upcoming expo.”
