This month m1nd-set reveals that 87% of Chinese travellers will continue travelling to Hainan in the future and 58% expect to increase their travel frequency to Hainan even after international travel is permitted again.

The leading consumer insights firm also shares that self-treat is the reason why 67% of shoppers make a purchase in Hainan’s duty free shops.

Interestingly, 26% of shoppers maintain that Hainan’s duty free shops provide good value for money (the leading reason for shopping there) and 20% believe they present a good opportunity to test or trial products.
