Sunil Tuli appointed King Power Group (Hong Kong) Chief Executive Officer

Sunil Tuili has been promoted to King Power Group (Hong Kong), CEO and reports directly to Group Chairman Antares Cheng.
Sunil Tuli, King Power Group (Hong Kong) Managing Director, Duty Free and Travel Retail has been appointed CEO for the Hong Kong-based Group.
Tuli, who reports directly to Group Chairman Antares Cheng retains his position as Managing Director, Duty Free and Travel Retail.
His responsibilities include the King Power Hong Kong, King Power Macau, King Power Singapore, Orient King Power China and Macau Ferry Terminals businesses and merchandising across all categories. These include liquor, tobacco, perfumes and cosmetics, fashion, luxury, general merchandise, packaged food and watches etc.
He will also oversee the operations of King Power Global Development Limited as Chief Operating Officer. The joint-venture company between King Power Thailand and King Power Hong Kong is currently in the process of opening branded luxury watch/jewellery stores (Cartier, IWC, Jaeger Le Coultre, Piaget and Panerai) at Hong Kong International Airport.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITY
In addition, he will be in charge of business development for the Group’s entire duty free and travel retail business and responsible for its wholesale and e-commerce business. He will also oversee the franchise businesses for the Hong Kong and Singapore domestic markets.
Meanwhile, Tuli, an industry veteran, who joined the India Tourism Development Corporation as General Manager in 1984 in charge of duty free shops in Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and Trivandrum airports, has been appointed Chairman of Chateau Bernadotte. This is a Cru Bourgeois vineyard in Haut Medoc, Bordeaux. The brand entered DF&TR a few years ago and is aggressively looking at the channel, according to Tuli.
A member of the Board of Directors for Hookedge UK, (Patrick Cox shoes and accessories), Tuli is also Chairman and Executive Committee member of Agatha SA (France), a French jewellery brand with businesses in France, Spain, Middle east, Asia Pacific, China, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.

Sunil Tuli will retain his position as Managing Director, Duty Free and Travel Retail and his responsibilities will continue to include the King Power Macau business (pictured).
According to Tuli, the brand, will actively focus on DF&TR and is currently in discussions with distributors and franchisees for different markets.
A founding Board Member of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association, Tuli, who was appointed by Swiss duty free group Weitnauer (now Dufry Group), to run its joint venture in Singapore in 1990, served for six years as the association’s President.
