Swarovski and DFS create sense of escapism with T Galleria Macau pop-up

The pop-up store is showcasing Swarovski’s spirited 2019 Summer Collection.

Swarovski Travel Retail Asia Pacific has partnered with DFS Group to launch the first Swarovski x DFS Sparkle Summer Bus pop-up store.

The pop-up store officially opened on 27 June at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons and will showcase Swarovski’s spirited 2019 Summer Collection.

The new Swarovski collection is inspired by the Mediterranean and picturesque coastal destinations of Portofino, Capri, Mykonos and Naxos.

Claudia Heskier Schioenning, Vice President, Travel Retail & Global Accounts, Swarovski said: “Summer is about escapism. Not only does Swarovski’s new collection embody this, but through our Sparkle Summer Bus pop-up we are encouraging our customers to embark on their own colourful journeys in that same spirit.

Designed in the shape of a campervan, the pop-up (pictured below) expresses the idea of heading off on holiday and is complemented by candy-hued pinks, blues and yellows. Motifs of cocktails and gelato reflect the designs of the No Regrets pieces from the Summer Collection.

Customers visiting the Sparkle Summer Bus pop-up are encouraged to get into the holiday spirit.

The store also alludes to the Ocean line, part of the 2019 Summer Collection. This features light-hearted sea life creatures including bejeweled lobster, crab and seahorse designs, while the Ocean View pieces put a more sophisticated spin on the nautical theme with jewels in gradating ocean and sunset hues, according to the company.

As well as highlighting the new collection, the Sparkle Summer Bus pop-up store will comprise photo area where customers can take selfies with props to share online. This will highlight the  messages and motives of the campaign and collection, which includes #noregrets and #FollowYourDesires.

Customers spending in excess of MOP$3,000 ($373) will receive special Swarovski scratch cards offering the chance to win instant prizes.
