Airport exclusive for Manchester with new Boux Avenue store

By Charlotte Turner |

Launched in April 2011, Boux Avenue is set to open its 22nd store in the UK at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 1 Departure Lounge on Monday 4th August.

Successful businessman and long-time BBC Dragons’ Den star, Theo Paphitis, owns Boux Avenue, whose 2014 collection encompasses a selection of bikinis and kaftans as well as lingerie and nightwear.

Theo Paphitis, Owner of Boux Avenue, said: “Opening a Boux Avenue in an airport has been on the radar for some time now, so when the opportunity came up at Manchester and in such a prime location, we jumped at the chance.

“Manchester is the largest airport outside of London, and with over 21 million passengers a year passing through, it’s a great location for our latest store. I am confident shoppers will be spoilt for choice with our bespoke customer service, exceptional quality and range of products.”

Beth Brewster, Manchester Airports Group (MAG) Retail Director said: “We’re delighted to welcome Boux Avenue to our retail portfolio and are thrilled to be their first airport store. Joining us at our busiest time of the year, with 9m passengers expected to travel throughout the summer season, and opening in our flagship terminal, we are confident that this store will be a huge success.”

In store, women are offered a free concierge service with complimentary bra fittings and Boux Avenue offers a free gift-wrap service with every purchase.

Boux Avenue focuses on sizing options that range from 30A to 38G and from 6 to 18.
