By Faye Bartle |
Travellers passing through Berlin Airport’s Terminal 2 can toast their trip by sampling selected sparkling wines at the Henkell Tasting Bar in June and July.
Henkell Trocken, Henkell Rosé and Henkell Brut Vintage are being served at the bar, which is operating from 9.30am to 6pm.
The Henkell Bar is located close to the cash counter of the Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value Shop.
Alongside the tasting experience, all travellers who purchase a Henkell product in the store will receive a complimentary Henkell Trocken Piccolo (a portable 200ml bottle) while stock lasts.
Henkell is Germany’s ‘most exported’ Sekt brand, available in more than 100 countries worldwide.
There are six sparkling wines in the Henkell range, including the Alcohol-Free, Blanc De Blancs and Halbtrocken varieties.
The Germany based company has a rich heritage, having launched in 1856, and is part of the Henkell Freixenet group.
