Wimbledon-inspired bottle jackets return for Champagne Lanson
By Luke Barras-hill |
Champagne Lanson is celebrating this year’s Wimbledon Championships by bringing back the iconic tennis-inspired bottle jackets.
This year’s design is modelled on the classic tennis polo shirt and will be available in two colours: A pink shirt for Lanson Le Rose (below left) and navy-coloured shirt for Lanson’s signature Le Black Label Brut (below right).
Both skus will be available in travel retail through Lagardère Travel Retail at London’s City and Luton Airports from June until the end of August.
Lanson has an association with the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club dating to 1977.
MARKETING CAMPAIGN
As the official champagne of the Championships, Lanson will once again be available to enjoy in all the bars and hospitality marquees within the grounds.
To mark the occasion, Lanson has devised a 360-degree campaign in the UK and is set to launch a limited-edition Wimbledon-inspired picnic hamper.
This includes a bottle of Lanson Le Black Label Brut, Champagne llutes and an array of picnic food.
Lanson will host a variety of activations in more than 100 premium venues across the country, including key bars, restaurants and hotels.
Robert Rand, UK Managing Director, Champagne Lanson said: “We are extremely excited to be returning to SW19 for The Championships, Wimbledon.
“Although this year will be a little different, we know fans will be celebrating wherever they may be and Lanson is delighted to have created opportunities around the country to ensure people can join in and share the true joy of this iconic sporting occasion.”
Lanson was appointed as Official Supplier to the Royal Court of England 121 years ago and since 1900 has had its warrant renewed without interruption by every successive monarch since Queen Victoria.
