ISPY draws ISG, Aeromar and Hainan Airlines

By Charlotte Turner |

ISPY-20145-heroISPY2016 event organisers say the list of attending companies and sponsors continue to grow and they also reveal that the week’s programme is now going to include an additional conference on 28th January – the night of the now legendary Gala awards evening.

One of the sponsors, Pandora, has even upgraded its package this year, choosing to sponsor another of the week’s major events, ‘ISPY’s Got Talent’. Pandora credits ‘the amazing success of its inflight retail offering’ as the reason for sponsoring both ISPY’s Got Talent and the Charm Award, which is given out during the awards evening.

“The line up of sponsors and airlines is taking shape,” says Christine Martin, Managing Director. “Most retail channels within duty free and travel retail are finding business conditions challenging at the moment and it is at times like this it is good to come together to find new ways of doing business, confirming business relationships and making the most of every networking opportunity.

Aer-Lingus-ISPY-2015

Aer Lingus won the Airline of the Year award earlier this year.

“We are especially excited at being able to add to the list of attending airlines, Hainan Airlines and a contingent from ISG & Aeromar,” says Martin. “As usual the DFASS & Diageo partnership is bringing the most airlines to ISPY2016 due to their dominance in Asia.”

ISPY have added an additional conference to the programme on Thursday 28th January (same day as the Gala Awards) entitled ‘Driving Standards through Education and Motivation.

This will be presented by Travel Retail Training & Shoot the Moon, who will present an ‘exciting and ground breaking initiative’, which could change the way airlines and inflight retail suppliers engage with the global cabin crew community.
