Molton Brown cultivates fragrance portfolio with Wild Mint & Lavandin
By Trbusiness Editor |
Molton Brown has introduced a new fragrance collection, Wild Mint & Lavandin, to the travel retail channel. The launch reflects the brand’s new ‘fragrance first’ focus, which was highlighted to business partners at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
Created by Senior Perfumer Nathalie Koobus, the new collection is a modern take on the classic fougère fragrance family. The juice is described as crisp, exhilarating and untamed.
The product line-up includes edt, edp and a bath & shower gel. Key ingredients include wild mint, basil and lavandin – a more powerful, greener variety of lavender. The base blends orris root, sandalwood and tonka bean. The edp is enhanced with a creamy nutmeg note, to create a warm, sophisticated balance to the mint.
Molton Brown’s new spirit of adventure
The new Wild Mint & Lavandin collection has been crafted using sustainably-sourced lavandin from Provence. It is grown by a collective of local farmers, who harvest the plant in a way that benefits long-term biodiversity, reduces water shortages, and improves the life of the community.
Like all Molton Brown products, the new fragrance collection is cruelty-free, and manufactured in the brand’s carbon-neutral factory in Hertfordshire, England. To help reduce waste, almost all of the brand’s packaging is created with 50% RPET, and is recyclable.
Molton Brown Travel Retail Sales Manager Sophie Sponagle said: “This vibrant new collection encapsulates the spirit of adventure which is inherent in the travel retail market, while also delivering the premium experience and sustainable excellence which are at the heart of the Molton Brown offer.
“We use the highest quality ingredients while treading more lightly on our planet – this means you can be kinder to the earth without compromising the luxury you love.”
