NITR’s new global launch of KITKAT Mini Moments

Top KITKAT Mini Moments Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) has launched KITKAT Mini Moments with General Manager Stewart Dryburgh promising that the industry exclusive is designed to drive full value sales for duty free and travel retailers.

 

The company says the line was initially presented at Dubai International Airport last December and is now being distributed to all major international airport retailers throughout the first quarter of 2017.

 

The new product comprises an assortment of five flavours, including caramel, mocha, cookies & cream, hazelnut and the familiar classic milk chocolate original. Nestlé also believes that this latest portfolio addition will prove popular due to its added flavour differentiation and premium packaging, since it is ‘suitable for both gifting and as a self-treat’.

KITKAT Mini MomentsPOSITIONED TO APPEAL TO MILLENNIALS

The product itself has actually been positioned to appeal to Millennials and consumers who are actively seeking new experiences and flavours, so it will be interesting to monitor its progress.

 

As for the product itself, KITKAT Mini Moments is sourced from 100% certified sustainable cocoa through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan. This is designed to improve the lives of cocoa farmers and their communities, in addition to ‘ensuring the quality of cocoa in every product’.

 

Commenting, Stewart Dryburgh, General Manager, Nestlé International Travel Retail (inset, right) repeated the company belief in the product’s role as an exclusive: ‘KITKAT Mini Moments is designed to drive full value sales for retailers through consumer relevant innovation and the highest quality product.
