Royal Salute whisky takes Polo affinity to the beach

Chivas Brothers is reacting to beach polo’s rise in popularity with the launch of the travel retail exclusive Royal Salute 21 Year Old Beach Polo Edition.
The limited edition liquid launched on 1 July in the channel (RRP US$140) and has now rolled out globally.
It is the second in Royal Salute’s Polo Collection following last year’s 21 Year Old Polo Edition.
Royal Master Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop said: “Royal Salute has a longstanding affinity with polo; we share values with the noble game of honour, skill and integrity with beach polo embodying all of this in a slightly more fun and playful way.”
Featuring a smoky flavour with soft peaty tones, rich fruits and sweet honey, the edition is inspired by ‘lingering bonfires, evocative salty winds and warm seaside air’.
It is endorsed by Royal Salute Polo Ambassador and former England Polo Team Captain Malcolm Borwick, with his signature and red helmet embossed on the packaging.
Royal Salute sponsors more than 15 polo tournaments worldwide.
