Special TR sleeve for Russian Standard

By Caroline Sargent |

For only the second time in its history, Russian Standard Vodka has released a travel retail exclusive limited edition sleeve, this time depicting the ‘Venice of the North’, St. Petersburg.

In a series celebrating classic Russian craft this special edition is inspired by the rich artistic heritage of a city which was once the Imperial Court of the Tsars, established by Peter the Great in 1703. Now the home of Russian Standard Vodka, the opulent filigree designs to be found in the baroque architecture of St. Petersburg have been carefully applied to the luxurious red and gold bottle wrap.

“This St. Petersburg Limited Edition Sleeve will target the gifting opportunity and build on the brand’s overall success,” remarks Andrew Notcutt, Global Travel Retail Marketing Director at Russian Standard.

The top selling premium vodka in Russia and fourth biggest brand in global travel retail (as polled by IWSR) – where Russian Standard Vodka is currently selling over 200,000 9 litre cases – the brand has seen particular growth in its Russian Standard Gold and Russian Standard Platinum expressions.

The special sleeve packs will reach stores in November and be priced in line with Russian Standard Original. It will also be available to view on the Rémy Cointreau GTR stand at the TFWA World Exhibition in October.
